I had a 1969 428 CJ Mach I years back and I loved the torque of that beast. But my little 281 cui engine with the twin screw on it feels pretty sweet when you nail the go pedal (and it sounds awesome). It pulls hard from 2500 rpm and I only need to shift at 6000 rpm (just like my old big block). It's shown quite a few vintage big block muscle cars its tail lights at the 1/4 mile track.  |
