Yup, I remeber well the hunk of wood that sat handy on the corner of Mr ******s' desk... when it wasn't being used on my backside... He did let us sign it if we so desired at the first backside offering ritual...(five days into my freshman year...) which for me it became (a ritual)... On my last day of school I asked if I could close my account in his office, he let me...lol. I ran into him years later, and he was
1.) surprised that I turned out the way I did, as opposed to being in prison or worse.
2.) told me it was still in use, though he didn't get to exercise it near as often.
3.) couldn't swing it as hard as he used to...
%^$^%^**^%@#, why couldn't he be old when I was there...
I was always thankful that he handled it that way rather than to use it and.... AND call my dad... OMG I only thought the one at school hurt... I never believed for a second that cock-n-bull story about this hurting him more than me.... what a load that was... I almost understand it now... lol... Mentally, ok maybe.... physically, nope, aint got a chance...
Mr D. could swing that dang chunk of wood too...
