I understand. I'm sorry about your cat. My first cat, all white, was one month short of being 15, when he passed. That was 24 years ago.
My second cat, all black, passed 4 years ago. He was 20 and a half years
old. We had adopted another for the black one to have a friend or
companion, but he disappeared one month short of 1 years old. That was
19 years ago, our wedding.
We adopted this cat now, white and black, and he is 4 years old.
Although, because of his 'baby' personality he is an indoor cat.
All other cats loved the outdoors, more independent but very loving!
We prefer male cats only, much more affectionate!
