The only thing I have against syr74's post is that GM decided to focus on the comfort of the rider instead of its extreme handling capabilities. It seemed that the Track Pack Equipped GT was more focused on the latter. I really don't know how you can come to the conclusion that Ford was more focused on the Handling capabilities when their base GT was definitely no achievement in handling, but instead of fixing the problem they were somewhat lazy and just threw in a pack to correct it. This basically left all base GT owners out in the cold.
