For the people talking about the lateral Gs. That .99 g thing is the peak G. Peak meaning the most they achieved in a corner. Steady state grip is what you see measured in magazines and such. They drive in a circle measuring how fast they can go before an end of the car breaks loose. It takes a lot more grip for a car to get high steady state grip than to generate a high peak g.
But yeah, this article is very biased. They compared it's handling to a go-kart. In their defense though, they said it was more like a go-kart than the original e-body. So if that's any indication of the car's handling...
