So did the original GT500's in the 1960's, but they were not called "Cobras". The coiled snake is simply a nod to Shelby Automobiles who created the GT350 and GT500 following their success racing Shelby Cobras in the early '60's against Ferrari.
Here's the window sticker from both my 2007 and my 2010 GT500's and I don't see Cobra anywhere on them.
