This is caused by the cheap thermal compound that Microsoft put on the CPU and the GPU to connect them to the heat sinks. Take the 360 apart and take the heat sinks off, clean the heat sinks, spread thermal compound on the GPU and CPU(use Artic Silver-better compound) put the heat sinks back on and put the 360 back together. Turn on and off until the console resets. AND NEVER WRAP YOUR 360 IN A BLANKET OR PUT IT IN THE OVEN! How do I know? I fix them.
