Welll it's a very long story and if it all came out it would make you
happy tears...
But... I am very happily married to a wonderful strong woman who has repeatedly told me that she doesn't care what I do as long as it's legal. My reply to this is that she is more important than any job, and if my being gone ever becomes an issue, I'ld quit on the spot.
We trust each other implicitly and yes, the last week gets to be the worst, but... the plus side is.... we never get tired of each other, and we have really good times when I am home... How many relationships get into the same old dull routine... I try to plan at least one surprise event for us when I am home. something I don't tell her about and she just goes along. I tell her basically what she needs to pack for and how long and she does... We don't do this every hitch, but lots of times. It may be as simple as a night on the town or something as elaborate as a vacation or a trip to watch Jr. play baseball for a week... she makes plans for us as well... movies, over night away from the house etc... I go to lots of sporting events with her as well... Work stuff for her but I get to go along for the ride and the perks...
