The prices vary depending on track and date, but usually between $3500 and $4000 for the 3 day racing school. Sometimes they have specials to save you a few bucks. You need that to get a license. After that I reccomend the 2 day advanced school which is between $2900-$3400 (sometimes less) and gets you used to the cars they use in the race series which have adjustable Wings. Also I reccomend some one day lapping sessions for practice they are around $1100 each. From the looks of things it seems the insurance rate went up so its $125 a day to limit your damage deductable to $2000 max.

Your path choice sounds like a good idea, you may even be able to go straight from TDI cup to ARCA. I wish you luck!
