maybe. the thing with diesels to remember is that they make most of their power down low (<3500rpms) and arent designed to run high rpms where most gasoline motors make the most power (>3500rpms). while it might have buttloads of torque to pull most anything, it will probably not do well on the top end.

that was actually the main focus for the 4.5L was for the heavy cadillacs and other SUV's
