This is what has me torn so much between the two.

I can live with the interior of the Camaro as a trade off for aftermarket but at the same time I could take a 2011 Mustang, not touch the motor, get stickies with a 4.30 and be right in the low 12 sec., high 11 range. Not sure how much faster I need a DD. I feel like a transvestite. So confused?!?!?!?!?!

I believe the Mustang GT will run roughly $1K more from 2010 to 2011 base price.
I believe the stock mustang will be advertised and touted as being 0.1 seconds faster than the stock Camaro 0-60 and 0.1 seconds faster in the quarter mile. Since these numbers are not "SAE Certified", they can exaggerate or downplay these numbers any way they see fit.

On the track you will see an equal number of bone stock Camaros beating Bone Stock Mustangs as you see the reverse. Their numbers are close enough it's going to boil down to driver skill and track conditions and other unrelated influences.

You might as well be racing SS vs SS and Mustang vs Mustang and insisting which one will win each time.
