If you've never seen it in Letterbox format, you'll be amazed at what you've failed to see when watching it on a normal T.V. screen. I'm laughing, but I'm in the mood to watch it now too, but I just don't have two and a half hours to spend on it right now.

I'm a fan of wide screen (letterbox) but I havent seen Excaliber in that format yet. Being a fan of wide screen, I can apreciate what I've been missing on "the sides".
I remember my dad taking me to the movies. He took me to my first PG movie in 1970. It was "Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid." In 1979, he took me to see "Appocalypse Now". Going in, we thought it was going to be just another war movie. On the way out, and especially on the way home, we were efing speechless. Great memories.
