The GS is not the GNX... the GNX is still a possibility with it getting a 335HP version of the 3.0L Turbo. The GS was always (post GNX) available in the Regal all the way until the last one was BUILT... in Summer 2004.

295 lbs of torque with 255HP is gonna be FUN AS HELL .

The Cobalt SS Turbo 260/260 was a helluva runner.. putting up 0-60 times in 5.4-5.7 seconds. In the press release GM states that the GS will be capable of 0-60 in under 6 seconds... which I read as 5.8-59 secs with this engine combo... I think it should be noted that the OPEL INSIGNIA OPC does 0-60 in 5.8secs. as well... with 325HP more.

What U have to also realize is that because this is essentially the same engine that was in the Cobalt/Solstice/Sky/HHR HI-PO versions... Stage Kits are already available. A quick click of the mouse and U will be able to add about 40 HP for less than a $G.

My wife just saw this pictures and needless to say... a decision on her Saab 9-3 Aero replacement has now hit ANOTHER hiccup.

SO EFFIN SEXY!!!! and they are doing it with lil engines that CAN

The 2.0LTurbo has a $650 kit from GM that boosts the power from 260HP/260 lbs to 290HP/ 340 Lbs. But I think the goal here is POWER and ECONOMY. I think that it would be a damn nice idea for GM to literally advertise the Regal GS along with this lil tidbit:

"Introducing the 255HP /295 lbs of torque 2011 Buick Regal GS... Upgradeable to 290HP/ 340 lbs at time of purchase from your Buick Dealer... just check the box... and go German hunting"
the germans would declare war
