P.S. October Sky was partially filmed in Harriman Tn. How do I know? They set up cameras in our front yard. The film crew played ball with our dog during breaks. The jail scene was actually Harriman Public Library, 1 block from my FIL's garage. Thay came in and took over our little town for the summer. Pretty cool.  |
That is cool. Its such a great movie. I was infatuated with model rockets for a while after watching it, but I never really got that much into the hobby besides looking at them at the hobby shops.
