Its a marketing tactic. They used the v6 when stating camaro, not LT. Your average person probably doesn't even know the GT is a v8.

The mustang gt with track pack gets 4.9 0-60 the ss gets 4.7. The LT gets 6 second 0-60. They aren't comparable is what I am saying.

I don't understand what I would have done to get a topic close - someone complained about ford's advertising methods so I pointed something out more drastic by GM. If you read on the other page I said why argue, just be glad we have competition.

EDIT: Also ford put "projected" because its probably not been EPA rated.
