After telling an unbelievable account of what just happened between me and my sister, my dad would say..."That old dog won't hunt."

If he decided that I wasn't gonna fess up and the truth had come out he would say..."I already know what happened. You lied. Now I'm gonna tan your hide and and hide it out behind the house."

And Mom's fav was..."Close the door. You weren't raised in a barn!"
