Word is....the 5.4L is also going to be replaced with some "yet determined" powerplant. For now they get the 150lb lighter weight Ford GT-sourced aluminum block which should be a substantial improvement.
I'm hangin' tight...there should be some sweet new parts in the Ford Racing catalog next year (5L 4V engine, new getrag based 6-speed, etc etc

) all of which will work in my current chassis.
Hard to believe the track-pack ADDS weight. My aftermarket swaybars, springs, dampers REMOVED weight from my car (hollow bars and much lighter springs).
As for the sequential taillights....uhhhh...riiiiicccceerrrr
