Well I have been lurking on this website long enough that I figure I should say hi.
I have been looking at other Camaro sites and so far this one seems to have the best info and friendliest people.
What brings me to the sight is that I have been considering a different car and when I mentioned to my wife that I might look at a used Mustang (because I was just thinking that new Camaro would be too expensive) she actually put her foot down immediately and said you are a camaro guy,
no Mustang.
I think she may off actually started dating me because I was driving a 2000 Camaro SS, SOM, T-tops, and a 6sp when I met her. After looking at prices for a new Mustang it looks like I should be able to afford a Camaro SS and if the price is high the V6 would have plenty of power. Either way it is better than the Mazda 3 I was looking at when I got jumpy about gas prices but as luck would have it my wife got a job close to mine so now we can carpool in her 2006 Malibu Maxx. And that also means that this will be the first Camaro that I own that will have to be a daily driver.
