Yeah, I don't have a problem with that and I understand that the aerodynamics of the show car had to be altered drastically to be feasible.

What I DO have a problem with is that Chevrolet was running ads showcasing the Volt concept as recently as two weeks ago and maybe even sooner, proudly showing off the old Volt design. Those of us who are enthusiasts and follow the car have known it wasn't going to look like that for a while, but average car buyers that weren't in the know but remembered the ads probably got a huge shock when they saw that the radically different production model so soon after seeing the concept in the ads. Imagine someone who just found out about the Volt two weeks ago in an ad while watching a football game, and then wham...noticeably different-looking car debuts.

I think they should have softened the blow a bit by maybe showing the Volt concept from the rear in the couple of months leading up to the unveiling, as the back looks closer to production spec than the front does...
