Same concept with the Challenges on the site. A 'Level 2' Aveo isn't challenging you. That particular character is challenging you, and they aren't sitting still while you wait.
I'm not saying there's anything wrong with not accepting those challenges from the higher levels though. I don't accept them either. I just keep them so when we are actually the same level I will accept.

I understand what you are saying. But, I figured since the challenge is sent and the moves are locked in as well as the well placed upgrade points to better improve yourself, that this is how you will present yourself in the battle. Basically, the challenge is locked in. I challenge you while I'm a level 2 and decided I needed upgrade points in two spots. I send the challenge. You get it, but wait until you are a level 5. I think the challenge I sent would remain at a level 2 since that was the person you were at the time you sent the challenge.
