Some of the individual parts are manufactured over seas, but the majority of them are made here in the USA. Its a global market and it works better that way.
The Showa forks are made in Japan.
The inverted Ceriani forks are made in Italy.
The starters are Hitachi.(Japan)
I heard tell that the electronics use to be Japanese made but not anymore.
The frame, engine, trans, and most of the other parts are US made.
I've ridden Harleys for over 20 years and don't want to go back to the Prestolite starters or the inferior front forks of yesteryear.
I'm OK with the few foreign parts on my Harleys.
