because I always wanted a REAL 58 plymouth hard top even before I saw the movie
. funny true story Stephen King picked the 58 Plymouth as the 'character' because in 58 the Plymouth and most Chrysler cars of that year were not as popular as GM or Ford cars. even 50 years later you can get a nice Belvedere (the trim level used in the movie which is similar to the Fury but it has silver trim on the side and silver grille with gold V in the middle) for about 20-30 grand apposed to almost 60 plus for a mint Chevy or Ford of the same era
