There are DIFFERENT GM cars which target that market now, so many of them that it wouldnt make sense to price the corvette competatively with them. It would change the car completely.

the Corvette went upmarket BEFORE those cars came out, that is why they had to come up with the new low end sportscars. and you basically said what I was saying, the Corvette abandoned the market that it was designed for in the first place.. The Everyman's sportscar...
