If you can show some evidence....

And yet performance against the JuCo competition is good enough to rate every JuCo prospect in the nation.
You're also taking a pretty contradictory position. On one hand, most of the guys playing JuCo ball are crap, then on the other managing to complete a lot of passes to WRs (who you just said are crap) doesn't matter.

Seriously, why would a dual threat QB ever choose a program running the spread option over one running a pro-style offense. Makes absolutely no sense at all...
Another reason may be opportunity to actually play. Sitting on the bench at a "real program" doesn't do a whole lot for a player's future prospects vs actually playing in "hicksville" as you so eloquently put it. If you play and have
any success in the SEC its going to bring attention to you whereas riding the pine won't.
And if Newton is so terrible at passing like you say, what makes you think he's going to play vs one of the other 4 QBs already on the OU roster or the one currently committed? Landry Jones passing stats are nearly as good as Newton's but he was playing against Big 12 Ds and not Juco, so if it comes down to "who's the better passer" Newton is going to lose by your own logic...

And just doing a little digging, since 2002 OU has signed 2 dual threat QBs, one never played a snap and the other barely played as a backup when Bradford was hurt. History would not be on Newton's side if he hopes to ever really play @ OU...
