Mythic is a map pack for Halo, it includes three (I think) new maps for multi-player on Halo 3. i THOUGHT that Halo ODST included these with the game, but I could be wrong
And just a heads up: From a gamers point of view, yeah the other games you got him are great games... but if I got those and no Modern Warfare 2 for christmas I would be disappointed. Also, yes, Best Buy sucks if you actually need questions answered about games. Find a Game Stop (or something similar in your area, a specific video game selling store).

Holographic site just has a lil crosshair instead of a red dot, that is the only difference I've been able to spot so far...
