Also, there's no need to even mention the ZR1. A properly driven stock ZR1 would put buslengths on your modded GT500.

I'm sorry you sold your Z06 for a Mustang. In terms of it "not holding a candle" to the Mustang - in what areas? Stock for stock it's a drivers race - 01 Z06s have gone low to mid 12s stock. The Z06 blows the GT500 away when it comes to handling. The Z06s has a more quality interior than the GT500. Looks are subjective but I don't know of many people who think a Mustang looks better than a Corvette. Moddability is the only thing I can think of where the GT500 beats the Vette. But hey if you're happy then that's all that matters right?
