For a theater in a box, it seems to have the best overall reviews, even compared to more expensive Bose speakers which seem to lack bass but have great clarity and fidelity. I'm a musician so I hear things most people don't look for when listening. I'm very picky. I bought the Ultimate Ears V10's inner earphones for example since they offer the best portable sound for the price. I can't afford the really really good stuff, but perhaps one day I will. Till then I think these THX Onkyo's will be just fine. |

Looks to be pretty much the same setup as mine, yours will just have bigger speakers with obviously more power.. I love my Onkyo's. So far I have not had any complaints with them. My only problem is that I crave bass! So, my next system, will be a built in to the room design so I get great sound. Then I'm gonna have my friend ( who works at a home theatre installation company) set me up with some big bass that might please my ears. This guy sets up home theatres that cost, well more than a camaro. But he is going to get me everything at cost. so I'm saving.
