Though the thing that sucks here in NY is that they won't honor the Law Enforcement Officer Safety Act of 2004 (HR-218) the order from the federal government that allows all Peace Officers to keep our Peace Officer status after we retire allowing us to still carry in any state.

That's a lawsuit waiting to happen. It's a guaranteed win because state, provincial, territorial, and regional rights are limited to federal leftovers in almost all constitutions in the world.
