Also no matter how cooperative you are still it does not mean you are getting away free with no ticket. I would say 9 times out of 10 you are getting a ticket.

thats right, time and time again I have heard police officers say that when you get pulled over keep both hands in plain sight (on top of the steerring wheel), do not reach for anything like your wallet or into the glove compartment for your insurance card and registration until he requests it...
He cannot read your mind and too many officers have been shot making a traffic stop because someone pulled a gun out as he approached the car...
Respect them, they are there for your protection.
