No, I was talking about the SRT-8. In an unrelated comment I brought up the exhaust note of the RT. I know the difference.

I assume they put the car on a scale. If it's only 49 pounds heavier than the manufacturers estimate that's not so bad. There are some cars that are supposed to weigh so much and turn out to weigh hundreds of pounds more when put on the scale.
The brakes are about the same. 14 inch in front but the rears on the Camaro are a little bigger. Not substantial enough to make a huge difference.
