Taken from Wikipedia on the supra. Those numbers are from the most recent supra (93-02) Considering an LS1 Camaro could break 12s, the supra doesn't scream ZOMG FASTEST CAR EVAR! I feel bad for Toyota if the most powerful engine they can develop only makes 320 hp with twin turbos...
These are the wiki's numbers for the last gen. M3
* 333 hp / 262 ft·lbf
* 0-60 mph - 5.2 seconds
* 1/4 Mile - 13.3@104 mph[10]
* Top Speed: 155 mph (electronically limited)
* Top Speed: 185 mph (delimited and indicated, real speed is 176mph)
* Skid Pad: 0.98g
So yes, a supra would have the M3 on the strip, not by much, but the supra would have it. On a road course, it might be a different story.
As I said before, a stock supra is not that impressive, their main attraction, imo, is the fact that they can put out big power if you are willing to throw money at the car.

I think your last little paragraph is the only reason people should own a Supra...because if you are going to keep it stock, It just seems like a waste of its potential.
