Funny is you could almost prove that stickers make a car faster per a said drivers perception by taking normal folks and put them in racing like situations. 2 identical cars, 1 stock, 1 riced up. Id bet a normal person would just have more confidence in the car all done up where the person in the stocker might not think its ok to push it that far. Hence making it “faster” the same can go for that HS ricer, that says his Neon is now faster with a whale wing and stickers. Those ego boost mods have him more willing to take it all out.

[Normal as in regular folks not like us, who will take a rental car on a motocross track and break all boundary limits.]

People’s perception does change their performance.

Shop / Physics teacher use to show us those tricks.

Have someone stare at a red object and their arms straight out are hard to push down.
Have them stare at a yellow one and even though they/you feel like your trying to hold them up just as hard, your easily overpowered. [Doesn’t matter which order you do them in.]
