This is in no way a jest at your gaming skills here, but I usually find that people that brag about how they can kick anyone's butt on a video game are 90% full of it. Again, not saying this is the case for you... but so far the results are pretty condemning
I've played 3 or 4 guys that were talking about how good they were (a few on halo, couple on modern warfare). They were fairly silent after we got done playing. Then of course came the 'hey man, your pretty good!' no, no im not. I'm just average. They just sucked
