Check out this interview with Urban.

After watching that video and seeing a coach get choked up shows how he knows he isnt losing a QB he is losing a leader and someone who represents the Team.

Zeus I have to agree with you . Ya know lastnight I watched the Titan and Texan game it kind of brought back memories with Vince Young 3 minutes left driving his team down and on 3rd and 9 looking for the pass then taking it himself for the 9 yards plus more and throwing his body to get those extra yards at other times. Those were great times.
We have had some Good Qb's at Texas however after thinking about it........After his Sophmore year Vince learned how to watch and break down game film and how to disect a defense with his eyes from who ?
A redshirt Freshman who grew up as a coaches Son " Colt McCoy. Ya know like Mack Brown says " Colt cam from a SMALL Town he was a 3 star qb if he were in a normal size school he would have been a 4 possibly a 5.
Texas Qb's from the past and I mean the Days that made us for who we are we had the guys like Bobby lane and of course 1969 Championship james street , Major Applewhite and now we have Colt McCoy.
CLASS PLAYERS. They wont be Mr Hollywood and they wont give you the fancy quotes they are just Simple , Good and the perfect player's that respresent this state.
I think sooner fans can say the same for Bradford. And im sure you can say the same for Tebow.

I know after seeing it in person ( that video ) we all knew that was only the last time Colt would Play at DKR but the end of his ride was near for the university of Texas.
Kind of Sad.... not something that im going to cry at lol but it has been a blast. After Vince we didnt know what to expect but Colt stepped in and took games into his own self and continued the saying " Never Give up a Game at Texas is never Done until the clock hits Zero we always have a change because WE ARE TEXAS " He wears that on his wrist band.

The question is will Brantley follow behind twbow ?
Will Jones follow behind Bradford ?
Will Gilbert follow behind McCoy ?

I dont know yeah Gilbert was a 5 star Qb out of Austin westlake however does he have the heart to represent Texas ?

Yeah you are right The players " MEN " of College football will move on and now its time to see who can step up and hopefully be the same type of people on and off the field.

I see Colt going to the NFL but I see him as someone who even if he does great quiting and becoming a coach or a mentor.
Hopefully it will be at Texas just as MAjor Applewhite has.
