If its any consolation, I was working on the brake light.
Got a ton of resistors at radio shack (5 each of 10, 22, 47, and 100 ohm, 1/2 watt, gold stripe) and experimented with dimming the LEDs for the brake light so that it can have a running light function. I finally settled on 147 ohms - now I just need to get it soldered together so I can record a video for you guys!
