The cars won't be as heavily gimped this time around as there were in the early 70's. Expect power and displacement to go down a bit, and vehicle size and weight to go down as well. Net result is that performance isn't going to take a nose dive, and consequently collectability isn't going to take a sharp rise. Some might be collectible on their own merits, but there won't be a model year for a while where its 'the last of the good ones', unless the car is simply discontinued (like the G8 or possibly Challenger)
