Having grown up in the late 70s-mid 80s, I just lived my childhood years as Bo Duke

The Dukes of Hazard shows were my all time favorite car chase scenes. So were Knight Rider. Riding my bike with my friends we'd all pretend we were the Dukes or Rosco and actually crash our bikes into each other.

As far as movies go, I think alot of people might say the chase scene in Bullitt. It's still cool to watch as Steve McQueen did all his own driving, there were no special effects (except for when the bad guys crashed the black Charger into the gas station), and the '68 Mustang 289 4 speed was a real 289 4 speed manual, and not some base slant 6 Mustang proped up for the movie. I just wish they didn't do such a horrible job of overdubbing the sound effects of the engine.
