I can see how HBS would own in Hard Core games - I generally do not play Hard Core though.
Cold Blooded - great for Hard Core - not as useful in normal matches. If you aren't using a silencer - then there is no need to use Cold Blooded IMO.
Perk 3 - Ninja - Yea, I can tell you're a Hard Core player Again - great for HC - not so useful in other match types IMO. Most players do not use HBS - at least - not yet.

Yea all I play is HC so the HBS/Cold Blooded/Ninja are the best for me
Hardcore is by far the best imo. It'd be such a lame game without it... imo. Something about lighting up a guy with an assault rifle and them not dieing.....

I actually like trying different combos of perks and haven't settled on anything yet. Marathon, Lightweight, Commando may not be l337- but it's a pretty fun combo - especially in the favella (sp?). I think the combos in this sync up better than they did in MW. The guns seem better balanced. The M16 was pretty ridiculous in the MW and it seems that instead of nerfing guns like that- they brought everything else up (so ya I agree people die faster)

No we're saying the same thing... I think the HBS sensor shouldn't be allowed. I use ninja to avoid it, esp on close combat levels.
My favorite level by far is the big circular misty field in fall where you have to use the thermal sniper rifles. THAT is a fun level. Its like hunting.
