I'm heading out to Ottawa for our national Remembrance Day ceremony. I am extremely grateful for the troops who were willing to risk everything for not only their own countrymen, but for those around the world who would be denied the freedom enjoyed here. I've always felt strongly about this, and after going to Europe this past summer (including Normandy on D-Day) to see the forests, fields, cities, and beaches where they fought and died has made it even more intense within me.
I will never forget.
