I agree with most of that. If GM makes a car that makes us have to do those things again, it will get discontinued again. The AVERAGE CAR BUYER, will not make those compromises. Most sports cars aren’t being purchased by enthusiasts. They are bought by casuals who just want something that looks good, is quick and usable daily without compromises.
As a car guy, I don’t want to see that happen again. If there’s no competition, what’s left stops improving (s650 Mustang). Hoping the charger gets a V8 and this Camaro story is true so they have to battle/beat each other again.
