2) The price is high for the Scat Pack, higher than its ever been. The cheaper RT model literally just launched. I dunno if its even on dealer lots yet.
3) The US economy is circling the drain and 'no new wars' turned into 'know new wars!!!' for oil. People aren't going to be quick to buy new cars with lower mpg right now.

Its not been 3 months they started hitting dealer lots at the end of December. So that being said only 1k units in four months (soon to be 5 months on sale) is not great even if the RT hasn't hit the lots yet the Scatpack starting is only 4-5k higher than the starting of the RT and the options people would get on the RT put it close to the starting price of the Scat pack where those options are standard anyway. The Mustang which is also a lower MPG car not only has increased sales but completely destroyed a new release Sixpack Charger car. Q1 has showed us that despite the economy the Mustang is hitting strides.
EDIT: Dodge has been teasing 777 in their ads or social media posts for the charger. For reference the returning RamTRX hellcat has 777 hp. They have not been subtle with it though there has been no official announcement.
