This. I eventually got tired of it (plus the other short comings) after 6 years.
I don’t think we are going to get the Camaro in the formula that we love. There is no business case for it. The Mustang is barely selling. Even if the Mustang went away and GM got 100% of the market share, I don’t think they will make enough of a profit to build a Camaro the way we (and maybe a few others who were interested in it but decided no after a test drive) like it.
Also if I’m wrong and this does happen, a 2SS will easily be 60k, and a ZL1 will probably start close to 100k. At those price points I’d rather just get a used 6th gen if I were in the market for a Camaro.
