The most interesting part of his comments are that he's saying Tremec is not actually building a manual transaxle but apparently they showed one at SEMA and it is posted on Tremecs site. Roma: "Tremec showed something at SEMA last year that I wish they wouldn't have shown. It's not real. So when people say, but there's one that's available, there isn't."

The overall take rate for manuals during the C7 generation was 26.6% which is substantial. Its easier to produce one transmission and reduces assembly complexity but I wonder if they're trying to avoid saying our customer base is old and can only work two pedals.
