Finally got my replacement fuel rail assembly in. How you see it is how I received it, these are definitely 2 rails off 2 different trucks but it really doesn't matter. They match physically and the most important part, they don't make any noise when you shake them. The originals off my truck sound like maracas. This should fix the EERRRRR noise.

The real point of this was the stainless crossover tube, which was definitely worth it. When I disassembled the original, you can see the mild steel tube was starting to corrode on the lip and puddling around the edge of the fuel rail inlet, again, this isn't helping. I cleaned and hand polished the aluminum replacement which should last the rest of the life of the truck.

I broke the rails down and cleaned them up. They came with injectors but no fuel pressure regulator, no big deal mine seemed to be working just fine before teardown. Unfortunately, when I pulled mine off the old rail I quickly realized GM changed the design when they moved over to this new stainless steel tube. This rail takes a regulator with a thicker input shaft.

I have a new Delphi on order that I think should work with this rail, should be here tomorrow and I can continue re-assembly. I did start setting things in place on the passenger side, nothing is tight just in case I need to pull it back apart. Short of an unforeseen issue, I should be able to get this thing back together this week and maybe test run over the weekend.
