I appreciate it! I'd like to be a little further along but I cannot kick this damn cold. This is week 3 of runny nose, coughing, body ache, just overall misery.
To keep the ball rolling I did a couple small, low effort projects. First my new bumper had been sitting in a warehouse somewhere for quite some time and was covered in some kind of spotty funk. A quick pass with some metal polish and my buffer brought it to immaculate status. I want to start putting it together soon, unfortunately very little can be salvaged from the original bumper. The brackets are one step up from dust, so they will all get replaced, as well as most of the hardware.
My lighting started coming in, these Tahoe Z71 fog lights take an 880 bulb, I wanted to go yellow because I like the way it cuts through the fog down low. Jeff Bezos hooked me up with some highly reviewed LED versions. Still have to order a harness and switch for these.
I want to start getting the passenger side put back together so I got the valve cover cleaned up and ready to install. Just have to clean the bolts and put the new seals on. Probably have that all back together tomorrow. This stuff is cleaning up amazingly though. Nowhere near Camaro status but this thing should look a lot better when it's all back together.
