Yeah, they certainly are "messing around" in the muscle car segment, which is a shame because they weren't messing around just a few years ago.
The new Charger (EV or 6 Pack) is not a good car if you're looking for a performance car. As a cruiser, sure, totally fine, in fact, it's actually pretty nice.
Otherwise, it's a pig that is too heavy and unbalanced. Remember, this car was designed for a battery pack underneath everything, so with everything being raised up coupled with no battery pack in the gas version to at least weigh down that lower portion, the center of gravity is naturally higher. In other words, this car was built ground up as an EV and because of that it suffers as a gas car.
