Strong disagree and I say this as someone who does have a 1LE and does take it to the track. The roadcourse community is tiny. If I were CEO I would not approve building that car. I’d instead try to build a stripped down V8 (kind of like your LT1) for as cheap as possible. Heck I’d even green light what I described but with a supercharger added. I WISH one of the 3 would give us a supercharged V8 for 50-55k with no options but I know that’s a pipe dream. 55k is what slightly optioned Mustang GT’s cost now and probably what a 2SS with no options would cost if they still existed.
