Hoping this brings down the price of the prior TRX. By far my favorite truck. The Raptor R is way too much and Chevy is being lame not entering the “unnecessary powertrain option” truck market. Heck even if they did enter it they’d probably offer the least power since they are lame and only used the LT5 in the corvette. LT4 is down on power compared to the raptor R and TRX.
Maybe Stellantis will prove me wrong someday, but from what I've seen Hemi simply does not package in the STLA Large platform. It does package in the truck version of STLA because it is significantly raised. This is a picture I took at the NAIAS a couple years ago when the Charger Daytona was introduced. Notice the position of the shock towers. STLA was engineered around the inline Hurricane. Remember, they were on a path to end Hemi and focus on the inline series of engines that features the Hurricane so there was no reason to package protect for Hemi.

It would take a rather significant engineering effort to get Hemi packaged into STLA. Sure they did it for the one-off drag car, but that car doesn't have to meet any federal crash standards or achieve any meaningful handling specifications.
