Yeah, the EV production game seems to have gotten stranger lately...
Just my $.02: I would consider that good ole California is marching ahead with its war on fossil fuels. I believe at least two refineries are slated to be closed in the state. $8.00 per gallon fuel is being bantered about. In spite of demand and an abundance of oil, California marches on with plans to ban gas cars, etc., etc...
This may be good news for EV production (bad news for consumers) as Cali buys most of them and will help justify new EVs. The long game may be that EV "demand", either customer or government "demand" will resume one way or another nationwide.
