I also can't bring myself to "appreciate" an OEM dialing up a boost controller and selling it at a higher price/performance tier. Just sell the engine at in its best configuration for performance and reliability across all platforms/tiers. Otherwise, it seems like you're paying for a compromise on one vs the other.
